Final Frontier

My group and I were asked to create a presentation to convince teachers that do not like technology in their classrooms to start using it more. We were asked to to change teachers minds on how they feel about technology being used in the classrooms, and here is our project .
The article Teacher Pedagogical Beliefs: The Final Frontier in Our Quest for Technology Integration?
 By. Peggy A. Ertmer
The article talked about how teachers are not use to technology and are not comfortable with it. It also discussed how students feel about technology in the classrooms. Ertmer also discussed how attention spans differ with the use of technology. One last thing that the article talked about was how students performances are with technology. It discussed the difference between collaboration and cooperation. collaboration is people working together together and helping each other out to get answers and cooperation is people working separately.
The project was fun and really showed how much technology helps to teach students. It also showed us that technology really is making a huge jump in teaching in classrooms.

  1. Hi, I'm attending the bc3/edinboro cohort. I thought your presentation was very effective. It was interesting to see the timeline of technology and website examples. Also showing different forms of technology. My favorite was the video it was nice to see a great way of technology in the classroom.
